Field Trip- Tuesday, April 27th –The Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library and Museum: Staunton
*Only families preregistered may attend with Raw Learning.  Fall Trimester field trips will be available to register for in August.
11:40AM-Leave Raw Learning.
11:50AM-Arrive at The Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library and Museum. Park in the visitor’s parking lot which is off of East Frederick Street as well as New Market Street. For directions click here. Gleamer will wait in the parking lot until 11:55 before proceeding to the Museum to begin our tour.
12:00PM-Tour and activities at Museum.
2:00-Leave for Raw Learning.
 
On Monday, April 26th Rebecca Allison, who is a Certified Consultant of Brain Gym and Richards Institute representative, will be holding class from 10:00-11:00.  She will decide tomorrow whether to continue or not, depending on interest. Come join us and get your brain and body working together.

Peaceful Parenting on Monday, April 26th

For our first meeting, we plan to ask ourselves two questions: 
What kind of people do we want our children to become?  And, are our parenting practices compatible with those long-term objectives?

Come to Raw Learning for FREE!
Yes, you and your children can come to Raw Learning for free. Simply volunteer!
·    We have a slot on Thursday mornings from 8:30-12:00 to begin on April 22nd and to end on June 16th.
·    You can be added to the list of substitutes for regular volunteers. Please specify the days of the week that you are available. Also let Gleamer know whether you prefer the morning (8:30-12:00) or afternoon (12:00-3:30) or that you can come anytime.
·    You and Gleamer would be the responsible adult mentors of the day. Click here to see what being a volunteer is all about.
·    Email Gleamer today and let her know that if you are interested in the Monday afternoon slot or if you would like to substitute.
 
Attendance options range from a class to full-time; homeschool families with children of all ages (0-18) to independently enrolled. Click on the attendance tab to find out more.

Classes for Spring Trimester

Classes are included for enrolled students. To just take one class the fee is $75 for the Trimester (prorated for late enrollment).
 
Mondays:     8:30-10:00—Makers (Joe)
                      12:30-2:00—Fun with Food (Gleamer)

Tuesdays:    2:00-3:00—Simple Snacks (Gleamer)

Wednesdays:     10:00-11:30—Fun with Food (Gleamer)
                              12:30-1:30—Learning through Literature (Kara)

Thursdays:    10:00-11:00—Bugs: The good, the bad and the ugly: Entomology 101 (Heather)
                         12:30-2:00—Fun with Food (Gleamer)

Fridays:        10:00-11:30—Connecting with Nature (Anne H.)
                      12:30-2:00—Fun with Food (Gleamer)
                       3:15-4:15—Science and Math (Joe)
