At Raw Learning the three "Rs" are taught across the curriculum and integrated into the classes. By teaching reading, writing, and arithmetic (as well as history, science, social studies, etc) this way the students learn real life applications and the true importance of these fundamental skills.
The most important learning takes place outside of classes. Social and emotional intelligence are essential for students to be thriving happy independent adults. These skills are primarily learned through self directed interactions with others. Most of the time students enjoy being with other students or being at Raw Learning just as much or more than they look to participate in a class. They are excited to stay after the class and interact with others and are usually sad if they have to leave if they are only enrolled in a class.
Since Raw Learning is a private school and homeschool resource center we have the space and supplies to afford students the freedom to learn on their own or with friends as well as in a class setting, whatever works best for them. Enrolled students and families attending together have access to all of the many supplies and resources that are available at Raw Learning.
Classes are open for free to every person who is at Raw Learning while the class is in session from 8:30-3:30. Check out all the wonderful classes that will offered this spring at Raw Learning by visiting the Classes Tab on our Website
Class fees and attendance fees can be reduced by volunteering. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested.
