FIELD TRIP—Tuesday, June 12th—
*Only families preregistered may attend with Raw Learning. Fall Trimester field trips will be available to register for in August.
UVA Blandy Experimental Farm and State Arboretum of Virginia: Boyce
Directions: Blandy Farm and Arboretum is located at 400 Blandy Farm Lane, Boyce, VA 22620. Pull in the grassy area. Meet at the small red roof building. Please contact me immediately if you are not attending or are going to be late.
10:00am Arrive Blandy Farm and begin workshops.
11:30am End mammal and snake workshops.
11:45pm Sheltered picnic lunch for younger students and their families. Pack your own lunch. There is not food available for purchase.
12:00pm End Young Ecologists workshop. Eat lunch.
After lunch Self directed exploration of the Arboretum. Please stay with your children and abide by the Arboretum rules and etiquette.
2:15pm Depart if you are going to Dinosaur Land or stay until dusk!

Directions: Dinosaur Land is located at 3848 Stonewall Jackson Highway, White Post, VA 22663
2:30pm Arrive Dinosaur Land.
3:30pm Field trip ends.
Summer Time At Raw Learning
FREE information and play sessions at Raw Learning beginning on Thursday, June 21st. They are on Tuesdays from 9:30-11:30 and Thursdays from 3:30-5:30.
Come and enjoy playing and learning with friends during the summer! Please come to as many sessions as you can to learn about the Raw Learning Community and to keep in touch through the summer months.
Location Raw Learning is located in the rear of the Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, facing N. Coalter St (the address is 2807 N. Augusta St., which is where the front of the church is). At the rear of the church there is a playground. Come into the playground and through the gray door that is in the far right corner. Please call Gleamer at 540.292.3002 if you would like further directions or can't find us.
