FIELD TRIP--Tuesday, May 31-JMU Planetarium: Harrisonburg
*Only families preregistered may attend with Raw Learning. Fall Trimester field trips will be available to register for in August.
10:10 or so: Arrive at the Warsaw Parking Deck. Directions: Heading North on I-81, take Exit 245 (JMU). Turn left onto Port Republic Rd. At Main Street (Rt 11) turn right. At the next light turn left onto Warsaw. Follow Warsaw around and enter the parking deck. Go to the top level. Gleamer will be waiting until 10:20 with your parking pass.
10:20-Gleamer will put the remaining parking passes under the rear wiper blade of her white Toyota Sienna minivan (license plate-PLANNER) and hope no one takes them. Please get there before 10:20. She will be parked close to the elevator in the far corner. We will walk over to the Planetarium.
10:25-Arrive Planetarium.
10:30-Begin viewing Two Small Pieces of Glass and mini Star-Talk.
About 11:30-Eat a picnic lunch on “Big Rock” on the JMU campus, close to the Planetarium
Around Noon-Head back to our cars
You Made It: Harrisonburg
12:25pm-Arrive at You Made It for tour and pottery painting. You Made It is located at 163 South Main Street, just down the street from JMU. Gleamer will be parking in the parking deck located between W. Water Street and W. Bruce Street. This Harrisonburg parking map might be helpful.

Summer Time At Raw Learning
We are excited to offer FREE information and play sessions at Raw Learning during the summer months. They will be Tuesdays from 9:30-11:30 and Thursdays from 3:30-5:30 beginning June 21st. Come and enjoy playing and learning with friends during the summer! Please come to as many sessions as you can to learn about the Raw Learning community and to keep in touch through the summer months.
Location Raw Learning is located in the rear of the Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, facing N. Coalter St (the address is 2807 N. Augusta St., which is where the front of the church is). At the rear of the church there is a playground. Come into the playground and through the gray door that is in the far right corner. Please call Gleamer at 540.292.3002 if you would like further directions or can't find us.
