Field Trip-Friday, October 16th The Paramount Theater-Room on the Broom
*Only families preregistered may attend The Paramount with Raw Learning.  Winter Trimester field trips will be available to register for in December.
9:00 AM-Leave Raw Learning.  (Please call or email and let Gleamer know if you would like to meet her there and follow her to Charlottesville.)
9:55-Arrive Charlottesville.  Gleamer will park in the metered parking lot where the Farmer’s Market is held on Saturdays between South and Water Streets.  Cost is $.25 per ½ hour payable in quarters only.  Here is a link to a map of the area that might be helpful. http://www.mapquest.com/maps?city=Charlottesville&state=VA&country=US&latitude=38.029202&longitude=-78.476898&geocode=CITY
10:00-Check in with Gleamer in the vicinity of the non functioning fountain that is to the left of The Paramount if you are facing the marquee.  She’ll be holding the Raw Learning sign.
10:05-Check in and be seated as a group.
11:30-The show ends and we will be dismissed as a group.
11:40-Bring a picnic lunch to eat on a bench or eat at one of the many restaurants.
12:00 or so-Explore the Downtown Mall.  http://www.downtowncharlottesville.net/seedo.html On the East end of the Mall is the Children’s Discovery Museum.  Raw Learning will be going there.  If you would like to visit the Museum, the cost is $4 per child over 1 year of age.  ASTC and ACM Reciprocal Members: Free (Reciprocal members of the Harrisonburg Children’s Museum are included).  Be sure to bring your membership card.  http://www.vadm.org/about.html

Welcome
Bailey Clark and her daughters Kinley (3) and Follin (3 months) will be joining us on Thursday mornings. Bailey will be also be volunteering to help out for an hour a week.  We welcome them all to the Raw Learning community.
