Additional Class Offered
Danielle Miller will be teaching Natural and Recycled Arts & Crafts on Fridays at 11AM beginning on Friday, October 23rd. Danielle will provide resources for creativity as each individual makes a unique work of art.
Danielle and her family live a natural lifestyle.  They reside in Staunton where her husband, Adam is a painting contractor. They have 2 daughters, Ivy-Anne (4) and Willow (2).  Danielle is a representative for Birth Matters Virginia and is studying to be a doula and hopefully someday a midwife.  She is also training to be a child birth educator with Birthing from Within.

Field Trip-Tuesday, October 20th Frazier Discovery Trail on Skyline Drive
*Only families preregistered may attend with Raw Learning.  Winter Trimester field trips will be available to register for in December.
Things to Bring—Binoculars, water, layers of clothing (it’s 10-15 degrees colder on the mountain than in the Valley), picnic lunch
9:00 AM-Leave Raw Learning.  Please call or email and let Gleamer know if you would like to meet her there and follow her to the Rockfish Gap entrance on Skyline Drive.  Here is a link to a map and directions.  http://tinyurl.com/ygcl33w 
9:30 AM-Meet at the Rockfish Gap entrance where we will all enter as a group under the Academic Fee Waiver obtained by Gleamer.

10:30-11:30 AM-Hike the 1.3 mile Frazier Discovery Trail
11:30 AM-Go to Dundo Overlook’s picnic area at mile marker 83.7 to eat lunch. (Unfortunately the Park Service reports that the picnic area at Loft Mountain is closed.)
After lunch-You are welcome to continue to explore the Park as long as you would like.  Gleamer will be returning back to Raw Learning, possibly stopping a couple times to take in the view at some of the overlooks.
