A huge thank you for all the amazing field trip suggestions!
Even though Raw Learning will go to about 20 different destinations this fall, we have enough ideas to do at least twice as many Wednesday field trips!
One that is for sure is an overnight stay at the National Radio Astronomy Observatory in Green Bank, WV and then WV Durbin and Greenbrier Valley Railroad to see the mountain fall foliage. We will be getting the rest scheduled over the next few weeks. Look for sign ups in August.
Raw Learning's Fall 2015 Trimester starts September 8th and we are looking forward to having the most diverse group of classes available to our community!
Our students have fantastic suggestions for what they are interested in learning about this fall.
Please contact Ashley, our Lead Teacher, at firstname.lastname@example.org, if you are interested in teaching one of these classes,
or have a passion of your own that you would like to share.
We are looking for enthusiastic parents, community members, and educators to teach the following:
Rube Goldberg Machine Making
Makerspace Facilitator (You hang out in our Makerspace, tinker, and help kids who need it!)
